Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Revel, a service operated by Memriq Holdings, Inc. ("Memriq", "we"). By using Revel you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your information.

What Revel is, and what it is not

Revel helps you plan an outing — the event, the parts to buy, the dates, the people going and the day itself — and keeps it all in one place. Revel does not buy tickets, book rooms or travel, or pay for anything on your behalf. Rooms and travel are booked through Drift, and Revel keeps only a reference to them. You buy every ticket and make every booking yourself.

Prices, opening hours and venue rules in Revel are recorded as a page or a person stated them, with where they came from and when. They can change or be wrong: the venue's own page and the seller are the authority. The forecast comes from Open-Meteo and is shown with its source and the time it was read.

Who can use it

Revel is in an invitation-only early access period. You need a Memriq account and an invitation that has been accepted for Revel.

Your account

Keep your sign-in to yourself and tell us at hi@memriq.ai if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Sharing an outing

When you share an outing with another Memriq member, they can see and change everything on it, just as you can. Share only with people you trust with it, and only add other people's details you are entitled to share.

Inviting guests

You can invite people who do not use Memriq to answer and vote on one of your outings. Revel sends the invitation, through Memriq's email sender, only when you press Send. Invite only people who expect to hear from you about it, and only with an email address you are entitled to use. Each guest's link works for that outing alone, lets them answer and vote and nothing else, and stops working the day after the outing or when you withdraw it.

What Revel does on its own

Revel works out and drafts plans for you. What it may go ahead with without asking — and what always waits for you — is your own setting. Anything that buys, pays, books, cancels something you do not own, or sends a message always needs you to press it.

Early access

Revel is new. Features may change, pause or be removed, and it may be unavailable at times. It is provided as it is, without promises that it will be error-free, that every price, hour or rule it shows is current, or that every reminder or alert will arrive.

Price

Revel costs nothing during early access, and we take no payments for it. If that changes, we will tell you before you are asked to pay, and you will not be charged without agreeing.

Fair use

Do not use Revel to break the law, to add someone's details without their permission, to interfere with the service, or to copy or resell it. We may suspend an account that does.

Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, Memriq is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for a missed sale or booking, for a price or hour that changed, or for decisions you make using Revel's plans, reminders or suggestions. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility the law does not let us limit.

Ending

You can stop using Revel at any time and ask us to delete your data, as the Privacy Policy describes. We may end early access, or your access, with notice where we can give it.
